Tuna Rice Salad

Ingredients

  • 35g brown rice

  • 3 tablespoons peas

  • 1 tin tuna in water, drained

  • 1 tomato

  • 1⁄2 pepper, any colour

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon mixed herbs

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 10g spring onions

  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, full-fat

How to make it.

Method

  • STEP 1

  • Cook rice according to instructions. 

  • STEP 2

  • Boil or steam the peas.

  • STEP 3

  • In a bowl add the tuna and all the other ingredients (vegetables sliced).

  • STEP 4

  • When the rice is cooked, allow to cool then add to salad. Add peas and then mix all around.
